Frequently Asked Questions

Do you service the engine on motorhomes?

No, a motorhome habitation check isn't an engine service. Please take the vehicle to the garage/manufacturer for anything to do with the engine, brakes, chassis and component parts that make up the base vehicle.

Do you install underslung gas tanks?

I don't install these, but I can install GasIT refillable gas bottles as an alternative.

If you do our annual service, will this maintain the warranty or do we need to go to a manufacturer approved centre?

I am a member of the Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS) which means any active warranties are protected. The AWS is the only scheme supported by all of the major UK tourer and motorhome manufacturers.

Do you work on self-build vans?

No, I don't do repair work or servicing on self-build vehicles. Self-build vans can have challenges that fall outside of my skillset, which means I'm often unable to complete a job fully. To save you time and money, if you have a self-build van or are planning to get one, I would recommend you find a self-build specialist to help you.
